Start Terminal Coding in 3 Simple Steps.

Vizcoder puts Claude Code and Codex, the AI coding agents that live in the terminal, into a visual app for Mac and Windows. Make a canvas, add a chat for each of your apps, then open up to four side by side and tell each one what to build.

  1. 1Download Vizcoder
  2. 2Sign in to Claude or Codex

A made-up company, Hollowpine, getting set up: a new canvas, a New chat here for each of its nine apps, then four of their chats working side by side with Multi chat on, and a dashboard each for Facebook Ads and Sales, on desktops beside the canvas. At the end, close chats and open others, up to four, and drag the boxes to move or resize them, or pick a desktop in the row at the top.

Built for the people running the work

Beginners

Start with an idea instead of a tutorial. Describe what you want, press Run to see it, and press Fix it when something breaks. Your projects are ordinary folders, so nothing is locked in when you outgrow the basics.

  • Website, web app, game and automation starters
  • Errors listed by file and line, each with Fix it
  • Save versions, and share on GitHub when you're ready

Teams

Keep ten repos moving at once and spend the team's time reviewing, not babysitting. Each chat runs in its own folder, the canvas shows which ones are working, and the one that needs a decision comes to you.

  • A live terminal for every project
  • Diffs, test runs and PRs as they happen
  • Long chats hand over to a fresh one by themselves

Businesses

Put the product and the marketing on one canvas. The services your developers ship and the projects that make your launch reels, videos and newsletter sit side by side, each with its own crew and dashboard.

  • The AI asks before risky steps, and the question comes to you
  • A dashboard beside every project
  • Runs on your Macs with your own Claude or ChatGPT plan

Four chats coding in parallel, side by side

Turn on Multi chat from the canvas's right-click menu or in Settings, and every chat you open gets its own box in a row along the bottom of the canvas. Four fit on a laptop screen, more on a bigger one. Each box is the live chat, so you can answer one while the other three keep building.

Type into any box

Click a box and type, as in the single chat. Esc stops that chat and only that one.

See who's waiting on you

A box turns amber when its chat asks a question, so a decision never sits unseen behind other work.

Arrange them your way

Drag a box by its top to move it, and pull its side or use − and + to resize it. ▾ folds it into a tab, × closes it and its chat keeps going. Try it on the boxes above.

Start with a canvas

A canvas is a board for one business, client or idea. Each project on it is a square: a folder with its own AI chat.

1Make a new canvas

Click the pencil beside Vizcoder at the top of the sidebar, or press ⌘N (Ctrl+N on Windows). The canvas opens right away; type its name in the sidebar. It can start empty or from a Lab, a ready-made set of chats for one kind of work.

2Right-click › New chat here for each project

Right-click where you want it on the canvas and choose New chat here. Its square lands on that spot with its own folder and chat; give it a name. Already have a project? Bring its folder in instead.

3Open a square and say what you want

Double-click a square to open its chat, or turn on Multi chat to keep several open at once.

Build your first app by describing it

Vizcoder is made for people who have never written a line of code. Add a canvas, pick what it is (a website, a web app, a game or an automation), and write what you want in plain words. Claude or Codex writes the code in that canvas's folder while you watch.

1Say it in your own words

"A page for my bakery with the menu and an order form" is enough to start. Ask for changes the same way.

2Press Run and see it

Websites and games open in a preview beside your code. There's nothing else to install or set up first.

3Something broke? Press Fix it

Errors are listed by file and line. One click sends the error to the AI, which fixes it and tells you in one sentence what was wrong.

You'll need a Claude or ChatGPT plan. The first time you open Vizcoder, it asks which one you use, then walks you through installing Claude Code or Codex and signing in.

Start from one of 42 templates

Each template is a chat that already knows the job. Pick one, answer a question or two, and it starts building. There are 11 labs of them, from a one-page website or a habit tracker to a crew that takes an idea to a tested pull request.

Give every project a crew and a dashboard

A project runs a crew of agents in order. For a service that's plan, build, test, review, ship and watch; for a media project it's research, script, edit, voice, publish and report. Plug in a dashboard and it sits beside the project's square on the canvas, one per project.

Ask for a dashboard and watch it build

Type “Create a dashboard for…” into any chat. Vizcoder opens a new desktop beside the canvas and the chat builds the page from your project’s own numbers, then keeps it current as the work changes. Want it different? Ask in the dashboard’s chat box and it changes in place.

A made-up skincare shop’s Facebook ads. Your dashboard shows your project’s real figures, read from the files in its folder.

Run every team from its own page

Each chat's dashboard is where you work with it. Its newest work sits on top, the page, picture or video it just made, with Approve and Ask for changes. What it wants to do next waits underneath until you press Do it or Not now.

A made-up skincare shop. Press the buttons. In the app, everything on the page comes from the chat working in that project's folder.

See every project at a glance

Show as squares puts every canvas on one board. Light runs along its line while its chat is working, and the bar beside it shows how much that chat re-reads on every reply.

Long chats hand over to a fresh one by themselves; you choose when, in Settings › Chats.

Live terminal

Click a project and you're in its live chat screen. Type, run slash commands, stop it with Esc.

Arrange it your way

Drag projects around, group services and media into sections, hide what you're not working on today.

New chats where you need them

Right-click the canvas to start a chat or a shell in any project folder.

Stop babysitting your agents

In a terminal you keep a window open for every agent and keep checking in case one is waiting on you. In Vizcoder the chats build on their own and only a question reaches you, like running a migration on production or submitting a build for review. It appears in the corner with an Open button that goes straight to that chat, and the project keeps a "!" until you answer.

See what every project shipped

In the chat box, the Artifacts tab keeps every PR, preview and page a chat sent you, newest first. The Media tab plays every video a chat rendered, right where you are.

See what each project is wired to

The chat box's Connections tab maps the services a project uses, found in its code, its chat history and its schedules. Faded ones are suggestions it could use next.

For keys, Vizcoder reads the names in your .env file, never the values.

Runs on your Mac

Vizcoder drives the Claude Code or Codex you have installed. It has no servers of its own, and your code and chats aren't sent to us.

Signs in on their own page

Each person signs in to Claude or ChatGPT on Anthropic's or OpenAI's own page, with their own plan. Vizcoder never sees a password.

Starts clean

A new install shows only the canvases you create in it, and counts only what they use. Bring in an existing repo when you want to, one at a time.
