Terms
Effective November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Athletes Department LLC, doing business as Vizcoder ("we"), for the Vizcoder app and vizcoder.com. By downloading or using Vizcoder you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you agree for that organization too.
1. Your license to use Vizcoder
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Vizcoder on computers you own or control, during your free trial and while your plan is active. You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app or remove its notices. Vizcoder and its logo belong to Athletes Department LLC. Third-party software included in Vizcoder is covered by its own licenses, listed in the app under Settings › About › Acknowledgements.
2. 14-day free trial
Your 14-day free trial starts the first time you ask a chat to build something and needs no card. If you installed Vizcoder before November 2, 2026, your trial runs until the end of November 16, 2026, Pacific time. After it ends, you keep your canvases and chats and can keep working in them; new chats, new canvases and dashboards need a paid plan.
3. Your Claude or ChatGPT account
Vizcoder works with the Claude Code or Codex you install and the account you sign in with: a Claude plan or API key, or a ChatGPT plan. Your use of Claude and Claude Code is governed by Anthropic's terms and usage policy, and your use of ChatGPT and Codex by OpenAI's. Usage limits and charges on those accounts are yours. Running several chats at once uses your plan faster, and those plans are meant for your own use. Don't use Vizcoder to get around their terms.
4. Plans, renewal, cancellation and refunds
- Plans: $4.99 a month or $50 a year in US dollars, tax included. Plans are sold through Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service: at checkout you agree to Link's terms and privacy policy and authorize Link to charge your plan, and Link works out, collects and pays the sales tax. Athletes Department LLC (Vizcoder) provides the app and the service.
- Automatic renewal: your plan renews automatically each month or year at the then-current price until you cancel. We'll tell you before a price change applies to you.
- Cancel any time in the app (Settings › Account › Manage subscription), from your receipt email or at link.com. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and doesn't renew; your license key works until then.
- Refunds follow Link's standard policy, which you see at checkout; ask through vizcoder.com/contact and we'll help. Your legal rights aren't affected.
- Your license key works on up to 3 of your own computers. Keep it private; you can move it from Manage subscription.
- If a payment fails or is refunded, the license ends and the app works as it does after a trial (section 2).
5. What the AI chats do on your computer
Vizcoder lets AI agents (Claude Code and Codex) work on your computer. Depending on your settings they can read, create, change and delete files, install software and run commands, often without asking first: Claude chats use auto mode unless you choose "Ask before every command", Codex chats have full access, and on Mac you can give Vizcoder Full Disk Access. AI agents make mistakes. You are responsible for:
- choosing the permission settings you're comfortable with;
- reviewing what the chats change before you rely on it, publish it or run it in production;
- keeping backups of anything important (Vizcoder's version saves help, but they aren't a backup);
- not giving chats access to secrets, systems or data you aren't allowed to share with Anthropic or OpenAI;
- what you build and publish with Vizcoder, including making sure it's lawful.
6. Your work
Your code, files, chats and anything you build stay yours. We claim no rights in them, and the app doesn't send them to us unless you choose to share them by link (see Privacy for the few things it does send). If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Vizcoder or vizcoder.com to break the law, harm people or their systems, create malware, infringe others' rights, get around Anthropic's or OpenAI's terms or usage policies, tamper with our license checks, or attack, overload or scrape vizcoder.com. We may end licenses used this way.
Shared links. When you share something by link, vizcoder.com keeps a copy of what you chose to share for up to 30 days, or until you stop sharing, and anyone with the link can see it and leave a comment. You're responsible for what you share: share only what you have the right to share, and nothing that breaks the law or these terms. We may take down a shared link that does, or that we're required to remove, without notice. To report a shared page, use vizcoder.com/contact.
8. No warranty
Vizcoder and vizcoder.com are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that Vizcoder, Claude Code, Codex or anything the AI chats produce will be correct, secure, uninterrupted or fit for your purpose.
9. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, including loss caused by actions the AI chats take on your computer. Our total liability for any claim about Vizcoder is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $50. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
10. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of what you built or did with Vizcoder in breach of these terms or the law, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
11. Ending
You can stop using Vizcoder any time. We may suspend or end your license if you break these terms. Sections 6 to 12 continue after a license ends.
12. Trademarks
Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC, and ChatGPT and Codex are trademarks of OpenAI, used here only to say what Vizcoder works with. Vizcoder is an independent product, not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI.
13. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app or by email if a change matters for paying users. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
